Main playing area lighting for the new England & Wales Test & County Cricket Boards’
Indoor training facility at the Loughborough University site. Tamlite Lighting supplied approximately 600 specially designed light fittings for this project. The fittings were a surface mounted steel bodied luminaire to accomodate 3x58W Lumilux lamps and supplied with a 32mm egg crate low glare louvre to reduce glare to players and of course a toughened protective wire guard. To have control over the lighting levels and to be conscious of energy savings, the luminaires were supplied with High frequency Dimmable contol gear linked to a Lux Mate daylight control system. |
